- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪A TRUE SHYSTER - I brought my daughter in for a swimmers ear. In all western countries its a simple prescription, "good" luck" and come back if it does not fix the problem. He set up a followup consultation! We got charged over $250 for a swimmers ear, something she gets every year. The price for the consultation is set pending the insurance payout!! WTF?? Out of pocket w insurance $150+ Out of curiosity I asked how much it would have cost if I had no Insurance: The answer was confirmed 2 times - out of pocket $65,- ONLY $65 - With insurance it costs us out of pocket $150 - WHY WHY WHY ???? Insurance is a scam, and this Doc is greedy.... He has gotten more $$ than if I walked in without insurance....I JUST DON'T GET IT.
